Nick is a resourceful and skilled test manager with 14 years of experience in software testing and currently working for a company dedicated to leveraging the COBOL resources already in place in thousands of code shops around the globe and bringing them into the 21st century. This has provided the opportunity to work on a large number of differing projects – from testing compilers to IDE’s across multiple platforms, to emerging technologies such as web 2.0, Cloud and .NET, through all phases of the development life cycle. Experienced in traditional waterfall development methodologies, as well as more modern development ideologies. Recent experience has included performing scrum master duties in an agile environment and managing the workload of cross-functional on-shore and off-shore development teams.

. Worked, and working on a large number of cutting edge technologies, such Cloud, XML, C#, Java, while also working with the development team on the future of COBOL.
. Led test teams responsible for the quality and roll-out of multiple work streams and software releases.
. Worked on creating a quality development COBOL IDE based on the Eclipse and Visual Studio frameworks, working with both local and remote development scenarios.
. Maintained and developed various internal systems, both for development and test.

Nick is currently leading a small team dedicated to providing and improving development build and test infrastructure, while also maintaining and developing test suites designed to ensure overall quality is retained across multiple platforms and products.
